New IP in a Day
This Art Bible was a rapid visual development test for a narrative-driven, unannounced IP.
The challenge: build a cinematic, emotionally cohesive world using AI-generated images - all within less than a day.
More than speed, the task tested taste, clarity, and direction-setting.
Rather than showcase AI experimentation, I treated the medium as a tool - proving that, with the right creative leadership, generative images can serve as production-ready visual direction in a single day.

Character styling is inspired by grounded fantasy: natural fabrics, muted tones, and layered silhouettes. This creates a relatable, near-future look. The goal was to avoid fantasy tropes and instead suggest a world shaped by plausible retro futurism.
04: VERTICAL MAJESTY
This environment spread defines the epic scope and mythic geography of Cloud Kingdom - a civilization suspended above the world, built atop ancient mountains and ethereal currents. The architecture blends East Asian imperial design with fantastical engineering, grounded in fantasy realism that feels both sacred and structurally sound.
The visual composition emphasizes verticality - cities ascend like temples toward the heavens, stitched together by bridges, light, and mist. The world is alive with thermal air currents, suggesting both travel and aerial combat. Defenses are magical but logical: towers radiate spirit energy, walls shimmer with elemental protections, and platforms hang suspended over the abyss.
This is a kingdom where wind, light, and stone are not just materials, but narrative forces - shaping how people live, fight, and worship in the sky.

This set explores the intentional use of space and silhouette. Shots are composed with dramatic negative space and quiet symmetry. Environments feel functional but infused with subtle design, reinforcing tone without overwhelming the viewer.

This slide defines the emotional and mythic foundation of Cloud Kingdom. The tone blends romantic tragedy with spiritual warfare, evoking a world suspended between duty and destiny. Each character design emphasizes ornate, enchanted armor imbued with elemental energy - fire, light, and spirit woven into the steel. Weapons aren’t just tools, they’re artifacts of lineage and power. The visual style leans into hyperreal textures and emotionally charged expressions, anchoring fantasy in emotional realism.

The Windlancer Suit represents the pinnacle of aerial martial engineering within the Cloud Kingdom - a synthesis of sacred craftsmanship and aerodynamic warfare. Worn by an elite legion of glider-born warriors, these suits are spiritually reinforced and built for speed, agility, and precision in three-dimensional combat.
The wings are both functional and symbolic, crafted with motifs of birds, dragons, and wind spirits - embodying the kingdom’s reverence for the skies. Tactically, Windlancers serve as scouts, guardians, and tacticians, striking from above with spears, whips, and lances while maintaining perfect formation in shifting winds.

These warriors soar on mechanical harnesses powered by wind turbines and glide wings, enabling them to strike from the skies with unrelenting speed and precision.
Clad in ornate armor adorned with feather motifs and sweeping crests, Windlancers symbolize the sacred union of sky and steel. Their helmets feature aerodynamic plumes representing swiftness, vision, and the favor of the gods of wind.
The Legion's hierarchy is as disciplined as their flight formations, with specialized ranks such as Cloud Captain, Wing Warrior, and the elite Eagle Guard - each distinguished by the vivid red of their sashes and the complexity of their gear. Their royal red attire, flowing in the wind, marks both their heritage and their deadly elegance.
From defending floating monasteries to executing high-altitude rescues, Windlancers serve as both protectors and paragons of the Kingdom’s aerial supremacy. To wear their wings is not only to fly - but to uphold the honor of the skies.

11: VILLAINS - The Dreadlords of the Lower Sky
Exiled Kings, Corrupted Sorcerers, and the Serpent-Bound
Once noble rulers of fallen sky-realms, the Dreadlords now dwell in shadow - driven by ambition, corrupted by arcane forces, and seduced by the power of the void. Each commands dark magic infused into ancient weapons, their twisted regalia a reflection of the baroque horrors that dwell within them: coiling serpents, gilded skulls, and ceremonial armor etched with cursed glyphs.
Their allegiance lies with the Other Wind, an unseen, malevolent force that tears at their sanity and grants unholy strength. Ominous symbols scrawled into their armor mark their pact, and their every motion betrays torment - caught between mortal ambition and cosmic possession.

Each is a monstrous godform - part spirit, part storm - wreathed in gold filigree and dark enchantment. Their bodies crackle with unnatural energy, their roars bend the wind, and their very presence warps the battlefield.
While the Dreadlords claim dominion over these creatures, control is a dangerous illusion. The deeper their bond, the thinner the veil between master and monster. The Colossi answer only to power and hunger. With every summoning, they erode the will of their summoners, threatening to consume them in body and soul.
These are not weapons.
They are warnings.
And they do not obey for long.

Skysails are the vital arteries of the Cloud Kingdom. Handcrafted aerial vessels that sustain its interconnected world suspended among the peaks. Used daily by messengers, traders, scouts, and engineers, these gliders ferry supplies, maintain skybridges, and link distant provinces otherwise unreachable by land. Their silent, graceful flight allows for unobtrusive travel, while talismanic enhancements protect against storms and aerial threats.
In wartime, Skysails shift roles. No longer just couriers, they become platforms for ambushes, midair skirmishes, and support logistics. While heavily armed Skylancers fly elite versions designed for battle - reinforced with armor, rune-enhanced propulsion, and weapon ports - standard Skysails are more agile, used for flanking, reconnaissance, or rapid deployment of troops and traps.
